The $98.7 million secondary school was built on the site of the former Fortitude Valley State School,
closed in 2013.
The new school is a mix of the old and new, with the former state school building transformed into a modern
learning centre, a state-of-the-art performing arts centre built to inspire the next generation of performers, and
green space to soften the inner-city location.
